Harbor Point.forKellbrook Trust

Ten years of big nights, under your name.

A naming-rights proposal from Harbor Point Arena to Kellbrook Trust. Eighteen thousand seats on the Calder Bay waterfront, two home teams, 190 event nights a year, and Kellbrook on the roof.

Prepared for Dana, Priya, Marcus and Elaine · October 2026

Build the deal

The city gives directions by this building.

Your brief said Kellbrook is trusted by the people who opened accounts in the 1980s and unknown to the people opening their first one now. Our crowd is the second group.

190event nights a year, two home teams plus concerts
2.9Mvisits last season, every one through a scanned ticket
58percent of ticket buyers were under 35
112nights carried on regional or national broadcast
“What if everyone keeps calling it Harbor Point?”The question every bank asks first. It's the right one.

A building name is only worth paying for if people say it. The risk is a nickname that outlives the contract, and you spend ten years paying for a word nobody uses.

So this proposal is built around that one fear. The name changes on broadcast, tickets, maps and our own social accounts the same evening. The PA says it at every event. The adoption plan in Dana's chapter is written into the contract, and the fan-reach report each January measures how often the city says it.

One Thursday, minute by minute.

The name

$2,200,000

Kellbrook Trust Arena as the legal name in every broadcast call, ticket, map listing, league schedule and press reference. Includes the 90-day adoption plan and the yearly fan-reach report.

In every version · per year

Five, ten or fifteen years.

Every term carries the same 3 percent yearly escalator. What changes is year one. Five years costs 6 percent more up front because we carry the cost of re-signing the building sooner. Fifteen years costs 5 percent less because both sides lock the rate longer.

Year 1 $4,000,000Year 10 $5,219,093

Our pick is all six pieces on ten years. Ten is long enough for the name to become habit and short enough that Priya can see the last payment from here. If budget is the constraint, drop the concourse first. It's the piece fans notice least on television.

Four people sign this. Here's each answer.

Written for the question each of you will ask in the room, in the order you'll probably ask it.

D

Dana, will people under 35 see you here?

Dana · Chief Marketing Officer, Kellbrook Trust

Yes, and they'll see you on their phone before they see the roof.

29median age at a Breakers game last season
71percent of tickets opened in the app, where your tile sits

You can use the arena name and marks in your own ads from day one. One review round with our team, answered inside 48 hours. Community Night gives you twelve stories a year your social team can tell without inventing anything.

The adoption plan is contract language, and it runs on a clock.

  • Day 1Broadcast partners, league schedules and our own social accounts switch the name the evening it's announced.
  • Day 7Every map listing and ride-share pickup point reads Kellbrook Trust Arena.
  • Day 30PA scripts, staff uniforms, concession menus and every printed surface inside.
  • Day 90Exterior wayfinding done. The roof follows in the offseason, when it can be built properly.
P

Priya, what does each impression cost, and how do you get out?

Priya · Chief Financial Officer, Kellbrook Trust

At the deal you've built, $5.52 per thousand impressions in year one, falling as the name sinks in.

3percent escalator a year, the same in every term
160event nights is the floor. Below it, the fee drops for every missing night.

Payments are quarterly in advance. Impressions are counted by an outside measurement firm both sides agree on, and the January report shows the numbers before the next year's escalator applies.

If either team leaves Calder Bay, you can end the deal on twelve months' notice with no exit fee. If the building closes for more than 120 days, fees pause from day one.

M

Marcus, what if the name changes, or something goes wrong?

Marcus · General Counsel, Kellbrook Trust

The contract covers a renamed bank, a bad headline on either side, and a clean way out.

If Kellbrook renames or merges

We re-sign the whole building once at our cost in the first five years. After that you pay fabrication at cost with no markup. The fee doesn't change.

Morals clause, both ways

If a team, the arena or its owners do something that damages your name, you can cover the name for up to 90 days with fees paused, or end the deal. The same right runs to us if the bank does.

Termination

Either team relocating, the building closing past 120 days, or a change of arena ownership gives you the right to exit on twelve months' notice. Missed payments give us the right after a 60-day cure period.

Exclusivity

No other bank, credit union or lender gets placement anywhere in the building or its digital channels for the full term.

E

Elaine, does this make Kellbrook the bank of this city?

Elaine · Chief Executive Officer, Kellbrook Trust

Ads buy attention for a season. A building name compounds, because after two seasons people stop reading it as an ad and start using it as an address.

Calder Bay has one skyline shot. Every broadcast cuts to it, every visiting fan posts it, and the city's own tourism board uses it. After this deal, your name sits in the middle of that picture for ten years.

You drop the puck at the first Community Night. Your branch managers nominate the 2,000 people in the seats. That's the version of Kellbrook the under-35 crowd will meet first.

From yes to opening night.

The name goes live everywhere digital on one evening in January. The roof waits for the offseason so it's built right.

What's still open.

Four things we can't settle alone. None of them changes the price you built.

Will the Harbor Line station take the name?

That's the transit board's call. We'll file jointly in December. We priced this without it, so a no costs you nothing.

How big can the center-ice mark be?

The hockey league caps it. We've asked for nine feet and expect an answer in November. The court mark has no cap.

Should exclusivity cover insurance and investments?

Banking and lending are covered. If you want the other two, we'll price them as their own line.

Who staffs Kellbrook Commons?

We can run it, or your branch team can be there on game nights. We haven't assumed either, and it doesn't change the fee.

If it looks right, say yes in one line.

Send Theo the deal you built and we'll have paper to Marcus within five business days. Nothing here binds anyone until both boards sign.
