November is the month payroll breaks.
Corvane today, from your September workshop with the payroll leads in 22 countries
Corvane pays through nine providers, then head office stitches it together in one spreadsheet. Most months it holds. November doesn't, because 1,140 seasonal colleagues start, Black Friday overtime piles up, and the UK pays on Black Friday itself.
Seven of 22 rows. The other fifteen look much the same.
Drag through November.
Every payday in all 22 countries, run twice. Once the way it runs now, once on Paywright.
What does each payslip cost us?
For Priya, Chief Financial Officer
Today it costs $7.85 all in, by your own September count. On Paywright it's $5.12, and the Paywright part of that is $3.04. Both numbers below move when you change the line sheet.
We bill on the headcount you pay each month. A seasonal colleague costs you only in the months you pay them, so November's 1,140 hires stop costing anything when their contracts end in January. Your in-house team goes from fourteen people to nine, and the five roles become payroll analysts in your shared service centre, no redundancies needed.
Will anyone be paid late?
For Tomás, Chief People Officer
No. Every payslip is checked against the rota, the contract and local law two working days before payday. If something's off, the store manager sees it on their phone while there's still time to fix it.
Colleagues read their payslip in their own language, thirteen of them across your 22 countries. Pick one.
On-demand pay is on the line sheet as an option. Colleagues could draw up to half of what they've earned before payday, free to them. We'd hold it back until the first three cycles are clean, then switch it on country by country.
What do we connect, and is it safe?
For Ingrid, Head of IT
Six links, all to systems you already run. Nothing new in the stores, no new login for colleagues. Tap any box to see what moves, how often and how it's protected.
Security, in full +
- SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, with both reports shared under NDA this week.
- Penetration tests twice a year by an outside firm. Your team can run its own.
- Data encrypted at rest and in transit. EU data stays in Frankfurt, US data in Virginia, Asia Pacific data in Sydney.
- Single sign-on through your identity provider. Access is set per country and per role.
- Every change to anyone's pay is logged with who, when and why, and kept for seven years.
What are we signing, and can it flex?
For Wale, Head of Procurement
- What if headcount moves?
You pay for the colleagues you pay that month. Open forty stores and the bill grows with them. Close a market and it stops the month after.
- Is the price held?
Yes, for all 36 months. After that any rise is capped at inflation or 4 percent, whichever is lower.
- Can a region drop out?
Yes. Each region on the line sheet is its own line, priced on its own, so dropping one never reprices the others.
- How do we leave?
Ninety days' notice after month eighteen. You get every payslip, record and audit log in open formats at no charge, and we keep running payroll until your new provider's first clean cycle.
- Who carries the risk?
We do, for anything we calculate or file. Liability is capped at twice the annual fees, and penalties from a filing error of ours are ours to pay.
The line sheet.
Ordered the way your buyers order a season. Every line drops on its own and says what changes. The total is exact.
Headcount is billed each month on the people you paid. These totals assume 18,000 colleagues all year and 26 pay runs a month.
Live before AW27, with nothing touched in peak.
Both peak freezes shaded. Every live date is a real Corvane payday.
The terms, in plain words.
And the four things we haven't settled yet
- Term
Thirty-six months from the first live payday on 26 February 2027.
- Billing
Monthly in arrears on the headcount you paid that month. Implementation is billed in four parts, one as each wave goes live.
- Service
Payroll runs on time every payday. Support answers within one hour on the two working days before any payday, in the colleague's working hours.
- Data
Corvane owns all of it. It stays in its home region and comes back to you whenever you ask.
- Late payslip
$250 credit per payslip plus the colleague's bank charges, from the first live payday.
Open questions
- Mexico's Christmas bonusYour local provider calculates it now. Do you want it on Paywright for December 2027, or one more year where it is?
- The Swiss bankYour Swiss entity pays from a separate bank. We can connect it, and need your treasury team to sign off the payment file format.
- The Polish distribution centreIts night shifts run on a different rota system. We've priced that integration in. If it moves to the store rota in 2027, we drop it from the bill.
- Who counts as a contractorWe've assumed 220 models, stylists and visual merchandisers paid directly. If agency talent is included, the slider on line five covers it.
