ROADLINEforNova Halcyon

Thirty-eight nights.Every one of them happens.

Touring production and logistics for The Afterglow Tour, Nova Halcyon's first arena run across North America, March 5 to May 5, 2027. Prepared by Roadline for Lantern Artists.

The night you lost

Last tour, a tractor quit on a back-to-back. By the time a rental truck was found, the doors would have opened on an empty stage, so the show was called. Fans had traveled. The headlines used her name.

Lantern told us the brief in one sentence. We can't lose a night.

So this proposal is built around that one fear. Every leg of the routing is planned with a spare truck in the convoy. The pack order puts the trucks that open the day up front. The crew rules keep drivers and riggers rested on the long legs. And the contract puts our money behind it, so if Roadline's equipment costs you a show, Roadline pays for the night.

Thirty-eight dates, one convoy

Scrub through the run and watch nine trucks and four buses move city to city. Back-to-backs, day offs and long legs are flagged as you go. Then press the red switch and break a truck on the hardest leg of the tour.

Without a spare, the first rental call goes out when depots open at 08:00. Finding a working truck took nine to fourteen hours last tour. That's a dark stage at 19:00.

For Dana, artist manager at Lantern Artists. Your question was what happens to Nova's name if something goes wrong.

A spare truck in every convoyA tractor and an empty 53-foot trailer run 40 minutes behind the fleet with a rested driver. It can hook a stranded trailer or take a cross-load, on every leg of all 38 nights.

The trucks that open the day travel firstRigging, steel and stage deck ride in trucks 1 to 4. Anything that can arrive late is packed in trucks 5 to 9, so one late truck costs time on paper and none on the show.

    $400,000

If a show is canceled because of Roadline's trucks, buses, crew or staging, we pay the night's lost guarantee up to $400,000. Weather, illness and venue failures are outside it. Everything we control is inside it.

Night thirty-eight looks like night one

Nova, this page is for you. You won't need to read the rest. Your show has a halo of light over the stage, a walk down the catwalk in "Glasslight", and an acoustic set on the B-stage where the back of the floor can see your face. Our job is to make sure the last city gets all three, built the same way, at the same height, every night.

The haloFlown at the same trim height in every arena, so the light hits you where it did in rehearsal.
The walkThe catwalk travels in its own truck and is built and checked by 12:00, hours before you set foot on it.
The quiet songThe B-stage gets its own monitor mix and a sound check slot that's yours alone, at 17:00.

    See you in Vancouver.

    The terms, in plain words

The contract follows from these. Nothing in it should surprise you.

If we cost you a show, we pay for it

A show canceled because of Roadline's trucks, buses, crew or staging is covered up to $400,000 a night, paid within 30 days. Weather, illness, venue failures and government orders are outside it.

    Deposit and payment

20 percent on signing. Then one invoice per leg, five in all, net 15. The deposit comes off the last invoice.

    Diesel

Prices hold with diesel up to $4.60 a gallon national average. Above that, a published surcharge per mile appears as its own line on each invoice, so you can check it.

If the tour moves or shrinks

Cancel more than 60 days before opening night and we keep the deposit only. Inside 60 days, 50 percent of the trucking and bus cost for the dates that come off. Added dates are priced at the same per-show rate.

    Crew and rest rules

No driver over 10 hours driving in a shift. Team drivers on legs over 9 hours. Eight hours off between load-out and next call for every crew member. These rules beat the schedule if the two ever disagree, and we'll tell you before they do.

    Insurance

$10M auto liability per vehicle, $5M general liability, cargo cover on every trailer at full replacement value. Certificates naming Lantern Artists and each venue go out with the advance.

    Still open

    1. Does the support act ride with us?If they travel on our buses we need a fifth bus. If they bring their own, nothing changes.
    2. Is the second Los Angeles night confirmed? If it moves to another city, March 13 to 14 becomes a back-to-back with a full load-out, and we'd want to rework that week.
    3. Who carries Nova's backline tech?If the band brings its own, crew drops by four and so does the price.

    Sign by November 20

That's the date we can still hold nine trucks, a spare and this crew for the first week of March. Accept below and we'll send the agreement to Dana and Glenn for signature the same day.

Done. The agreement for $9,598,700 goes to Dana and Glenn today, and your fleet is held from this moment.
